I finally tried some out and made a shrug/bolero-thing out of the banana silk yarn. I had to combine it with some orange merinowool, because I ran out of yarn.
Pattern: my own
Yarn: handspun Banana Silk Yarn + Tucana's Dream Organic Merino DK
The pattern is an easy short raglan-sweater. The wool makes it so special.
And did you notice the little duck-button? It's very cute, but if I find a better one to fit this shrug, I would change it, I think.
She is a dreamdaughter to make things for... she loves everything you make her. This shrug is no exception. I finished it yesterday-evening and she wears it today for school.
