A symbols-swap, where we had to give up some of our favorite symbols and our swappartner had to do something with them.
I immediately knew what symbols would be mine to choose...

And I'm so glad I did! Kathleen did a great job!

A drawing of Nefertete, including the Eye of Ra. My husband is going to let it last longer, so I can put it on the wall in our bedroom (which is my private Ancient Egypt-museum).

A cross-stitch pattern of the Illuminati-diamant.

A sewing-apron with a Illuminati-diamant. Ooooh, I love this thing! It was on my list for a long time now, but I still hadn't had the time to make it. Now I have a more prettier one :D

A tea-wallet, another thing that was on my list. Now I can always have my addiction with me, wherever I go.
The 2 sacks of tea included, are already gone :p
Offcourse, like always in a swap, I had to make something to. This time my victim was Christel.
Her symbols:

And I think, I did a great job too ;o)
Christel already let me know that she liked the package... pfeeeew!
This is what I made for her:

Pattern: Pentagram Tam.
Yarn: Bluefaced Leicester, handdyed in Brilliant Blue.

Fibre: Bluefaced Leicester in a colorway without a name yet.
A triskel is associated with 3 colors: red, white, black. I transformed the colors a bit to bordeaux, silver and black, but it's the idea that counts ;o)

Handmade buttons with pentagrams on it.
And for the last item, my husband drawed a little comic-story about her and her family:

I loved this swap. It was the first swap in a long time for me, but I'm glad I participated. :)

Oh, wauw!!!
Groetjes
Miriam
